A small full grain leather backpack made for children, not adults. At 20 x 27 x 9 cm it is sized for little shoulders, with room for a snack, a jersey, a favourite toy and not much more.

Every child wants a bag like the grown-ups have. This one is the real thing, just smaller. Three zips keep everything in its place: a top zip into the main compartment and two front zip pockets for the small treasures that must travel along. An open pocket on each side holds a water bottle or a juice box within easy reach. The leather shoulder straps adjust with brass buckles as your child grows, and a grab handle on top means it can be carried by hand or hung on a hook. Best suited to ages 2 to 6, or roughly preschool through Grade R. Add a R150 message tag with their name so the bag comes home from school with the right child.

With regular use, The Little Adventurer will pick up the small signs of real life. Full grain leather keeps its natural grain, markings and shifts in tone, then softens and develops more character over time. A bag that starts in the sandpit can still be worn years later.
